What's All This Nazi Stuff Going On?

And are we going to let it distract us?

Did anybody else see Elon Musk do a Nazi salute on inauguration day? A little weird. Especially for a man who is sooo tired of the "everyone is Hitler" line of attack. Must be tough being on the spectrum and also having to fend off accusations of Nazism. I mean he was up on the stage in front off all those people probably thinking something like:

I am so happy right now. I love these people so much and I want to show them how much I love them. Anything will most likely suffice due to my popularity. Nuts! I just did the Heil Hitler. I must turn away. Double nuts! I did it again. I hope Don is not mad. I hope the camera was not on his or Melania's face when I did that thing. Oh well. Carry on.

Musk does have a point about the liberal slinging around of Hitler comparisons. Hitler was a singular figure. An evil little man shaped by the time period and circumstances he inhabited. He may have not been able to even navigate these political times. I could see Adolf getting a little too hyped up after a minor setback and poof, his political career is in the dustbin right next to Howard Dean's.

It's safe to say there will not be another Hitler either. So let's all agree with Elon to put it to bed before we pre condemn anymore failed artists, men whose mustaches don't droop beyond the lip, or on the spectrum emphatic speakers running for county commissioner. There were plenty of Nazis though. Lots more Nazi appeasers. There's even a rather large sub-genre that believes Hitler wasn't that bad a dude if not for the Holocaust. Which has resulted in quite a flourishing Holocaust denial / exaggeration boutique marketplace. I mean hey, 80 million deaths minus 6 million ain't that bad. And no one can really have been so insidious as to do all that shit, right? An unnecessary false flag thrown by the victors to demonize an entire philosophy?

Does throwing a Nazi salute make one a Nazi? Of course not. Could be more of a taboo crossing or double dog dare kind of thing. Sure seems like some big Nazi energy (BNE) but being a Nazi was a whole lifestyle kind of thing. Throwing the salute may be a little more like the following example. Let's say you have two straight guys who decide to fuck each other in the ass for whatever reason. I know some of you are screaming that these guys are no longer straight but indeed homosexuals at this point. Well, let's say they both hated the experience. It hurt and stinky got all over the bench seat of the truck they were in. The men go back to their normal lives and hope nobody down at the quarry gets wind of this inauspicious tryst. Unfortunately, one of the fellas will probably end up killing the other one to guarantee the keeping of the secret due to gay butt stuff being worse to many men than toying around with Nazi ideology. Either way you look at it, our quarry boys are pretty far from living a truly gay lifestyle.

It could be the same for Elon. He may be more embarrassed about this incident than anyone. I mean, has his lifestyle changed drastically lately or is he still doing the same shit? Is he hanging out with different people? I'm pretty sure he's been hanging out with Putin for quite a while. And Putin's no Hitler either for any of you still wanting to point fingers. Unless I have forgotten History 101 where Hitler got the Reich bogged down in Poland for three years.

One could make an argument for Putin being the closest thing to a modern day Hitler with his unprovoked attack on Ukraine and with his internal adversaries dying of various accidents. Still pretty far off. Hitler didn't really need any friends. Putin is desperately praying the USA and China don't start viewing Russia as unnecessary. And if it weren't for all the nukes, Russia probably wouldn't even crack the top ten nowadays. Especially after the past few years. Russia's current situation would be more comparable to Italy braving the Adriatic circa 1935 only to be thwarted by the brave Hellenic forces of Greece along with any remaining gods and titans as Germany and Japan passively observed with a look on their face one often associates with the unexpected smelling of a fart.

With that, we can rule out Elon dedicating his Heil Hitler salute to Putin. Not sure why he chooses to kick it with Putin though. Especially when you consider the way Putin has treated some of his former oligarchs. I guess the new gangster's girlfriend always assumes she's too important to be chopped in pieces to be lain in memoriam in the concrete footers for a new casino. I mean it was kinda sweet when he wrote "RIP OLGA" before it dried.

On the other hand, Elon did oppose Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the beginning. Looked like one of the worst things in the world until Hamas took the top spot about a year and half later. Hamas' invasion was a little higher on the evil scale but not too much. Getting kidnapped is worse than being a hostage in your own land but at least they left Israel the same day. Snatching babies is a war crime though. I think it's safe to say the total number of rapes, civilian and total deaths will be much higher in Ukraine when it's all said and done. Hard to rate the horror of unnecessary wars against terrorist attacks. Or differentiate between the two sometimes.

Not sure what Elon may be thinking of Putin's war now. It would not be appropriate to speculate either. So let's just look at a few facts on the ground. The three countries doing the most to help Ukraine stand up to Putin are the USA, UK, and good ole Germany. There are minorities in each of these countries which are sympathetic towards Putin. I'm not talking about black or brown minorities either. It's predominantly right wing white people sympathetic to Putin in each of these countries. Probably a coincidence. Elon has taken quite the shine to these right wing minorities in each of these countries.

Elon has famously taken on the woke mind virus and cancel culture in the USA. There are some legitimate battles to fight against both of these. Whether one should ignore more important battles and uncancel people like Alex Jones is where the head scratching begins. I wonder if too much Twitter could fuck up somebody's head.

The UK attacks are directed at those who did not do enough to combat the Pakistani rape gangs due to the fears of being called racist about 10 years ago. The Limeys fucked this one up. Any effort after the initial screw up would be deemed inadequate. One can't help but look back at some USA scandals involving the Boy Scouts, Penn State and the Catholic Church after hearing of this. I sure hope at some point in the future the Catholic Church will take a brave stance on some worthy issue which could even put the future existence of the church into doubt. This will not be the best time to unleash a devastating attack on their handling of the sex abuse scandals. This could be a good time for an attack on the many rapes and murders of Ukrainian women and girls which have occurred after Putin's invasion.

Elon jumped in bed with Germany's far right party Alternative fuer Deutschland with both feet. This group's leader is a completely doable chick named Alice Weidel who is opposed to supporting Ukraine. Alice even recently explained how the AfD is so not like Hitler because he was a commie. As we all know, Hitler's self hatred led him to risk the future existence of the Third Reich by attacking commie Russia. Alice could have also said how the AfD is not like Hitler due to its membership being much much less than 25% Jewish. Elon recently addressed the AfD and told them they shouldn't be guilty of what their great granddad may have done. Which I happen to agree with. Maybe he jumped on the grenade by doing the Heil Hitler for these guys since they still aren't allowed to do it by German law. However, if one's great granddad happened to be a serial sexual harasser, maybe you should think twice before using his well known line of "Morning sweet tits" when entering the office. Crazy times, huh?

It's possible Elon might be playing some weird little game with his little Heil Hitler. He may think he has a some wiggle room in that head of his because of all the Hitler barbs thrown at Trump during the campaign. The biggest transgression was the Madison Square Garden rally. Though there was a Nazi rally at MSG in 1939, this one was a 100% Trump Republican 2024 version campaign rally. Each one has its own special touch yet none were reminiscent of Hitler's rallies or the Nazi rally in 1939. The Nazis didn't have any comedians and Hitler was concise. They didn't even have comedians doing tired old Jewish trope jokes. The Nazis only laughed at the suffering of others. Trump people laugh at jokes too. Which is actually pretty important. I'm guessing the people who called it a Nazi rally probably wished they would have waited. Who knows, somebody might have thrown out a Heil Hitler pre-election if y'all would have kept your mouths shut. And if you happen to find a real joke offensive or lacking merit, just don't laugh. There is a way to attack the merit of a joke without the total annihilation of the joker or the chuckler.

Before we go any further, I would like to clarify my thoughts on why the Nazi thing is peeping from behind the curtain on many Trump things. The denial of the 2020 election and attempted coup which culminated on January 6, 2021 was very Naziesque. Mixed in with authoritarianism and fascism and all the other nasty names associated with piece of shit political groups. It was some serious BNE. Nothing else Trump did during his first term justifies any of the Nazi name calling in my opinion. I can see how all the Nazi talk is perplexing for those of you who think the 2020 election was actually stolen. Most of us believe this to be an egregious lie and always will unless proven otherwise in a court of law.

Even with that, Trump is still nothing like Hitler. It was more of Hugo Chavez kind of thing. Hitler probably would have pulled a successful coup. Yet, Hitler did not need to. He had pretty much neutralized his competition and was actually quite popular with German citizens after his first four years.

Now Trump did do some things during the campaign that one could describe as small Nazi energy (SNE). Saying your going to root out your enemies who live like vermin definitely qualifies as SNE. As is saying immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country. Makes it sound like all the immigrants come over here to not work and only breed. Even if that is the case, there may be some examples where the blood isn't considered to be poisoned. Surely Trump could find at least one positive example here. His boy JD flashed a little SNE with the whole Haitians eating pets story. At least he admitted he was lying. Nazis never did that.

It gets a little messier after Trump's reelection. Veiled threats of using force to take over Greenland and Panama are examples of SNE. Big Putin energy though. Pardoning the insurrectionist and seditionists who failed to keep Trump in power was some definite BNE. The first week was pretty much a blitzkrieg against the institutions of the US government. Though it has been thrown around a little too much, I'm afraid President Trump has already done too much to completely shake all of this off. Especially if he decides to keep pallin' around with Nazi saluters.

Elon's Heil Hitler wasn't the first faux pas involving high profile presidential moments. Anybody remember the terrorist fist jab shared by presidential nominee Barrack Obama and his wife Michelle? Obama, being the skilled politician that he was, brushed off the mistake to cruise to two consecutive decisive electoral college victories. Then there was the Larry Wilmore incident involving both Barack and Michelle Obama to sandwich the two terms in controversy. Larry actually made two faux pas’ on this fateful evening. Larry used a derogatory term to address Barack then he used the n-word. Barack took it like a champ with a strong terrorist fist pump possibly because he is only blackish and wasn't sure what to do. Michelle, being fully black, appeared to be furious at Larry. Larry's Comedy Central show was canceled a few months later. Barack and Michelle have been unemployed since leaving the White House and have not held any other political positions.

You know, I really wish Trump and Melania were there when Elon did the Heil Hitler so their facial expressions could have been captured for historical purposes. Trump probably would have laughed while thinking, "Ha. Elon's doing that because the left wing lunatics call me Hitler all the time and I'm so not." Melania probably would have covered a little smirk with her hand while thinking, "Idiot. At least Donald will have to kick him out of the house now." It was nice to see Trump's face when the preacher lady asked him to be a little bit more like Jesus. I think she fails to see that Trump and his Republican guard are looking forward and not backwards now. The old Jesus was meek. The Jesus of the future must be fierce and strong since he'll be fighting the Anti-Christ in the octagon at some soon to be determined time. It was a little sweet how she thought shame might crack the facade.

So what's next for Trump and his Nazi saluting sidekick? Will Trump bail out Putin to join Russia and China in this modern day allied axis of power even after Russia put out nudes of Melania after his reelection? Maybe since Putin is treating him like a bitch Trump will ditch Russia and convince China to become a new frenemy with benefits. Leave all the warmongers behind. They can agree to leave Panama and Taiwan as is while continuing to exploit Greenland and Africa for precious metals. But only if it's agreed to cut the Greenlanders and Africans in on a fair share of the profits.

Trump is now president. Elon did a Nazi salute at an inauguration party. This is the USA in 2025. There's only so much we can do now before the midterms. Take a break. Start a new hobby. Go fuck a stranger. The only hope for sanity right now is a handful of Republicans saying enough is enough. Maybe their preachers will help them remember the old Jesus since he is the only version we actually know¹ existed. Limiting phone use may also help.
