It technically could be worse

I don't know how well mass protests in the street work nowadays. Will it change opinions in these times we are currently living in? Most likely not. The other side will say stuff like, "Must be nice to not work and go out and scream". Not sure what would cause MAGA voters to suddenly become reflective. A cloud which is clearly a frowning Jesus face would most likely lead them to believe they aren't doing enough and ratchet up their support for the transpirings of the 49.8% billionaire enacted mandate.

Getting elected Republicans to do something could be the key. Mass protests won't move the needle with this group. I have no idea if they would respond to their Republican constituents making phone calls or writing letters either. Phone calls from high end donors could do something. It could also lead the Republican incumbents to reach out for some Musk money. The simple truth is a majority of our elected Republicans who are not in the MAGA cult have been in a state of shock since 1/6/21. Paralyzed and catatonic. They don't even realize the fact they could stop Trump's bullshit and still get a chunk of their conservative wishlist enacted without completely destroying the infrastructure of the government. Sure, they may get primaried from the right but it would give them so much legitimacy once Trump is out of office. Is this group capable of looking further down the road than the next election though?

Does anyone else think the Trump administration is looking for a reason to institute martial law? Possibly use the Insurrection Act to break up a rally construed to be threatening to the hard working government employees of the Capitol? That would be quite rich. Especially since the act specifically mentions "calling forth the Militia".

If Trump wanted an excuse to pull some shit, how would he get the other side to start having mass protests? Flooding the zone with a tsunami of loose poo could do the trick. I'm talking about throwing out every imaginable stupid fuckin idea under the sun to distract the public from the fleecing of the US Treasury. A little something for all Americans of various levels of intellect to be outraged over.

The temptation to put down one's phone and take to the streets for an old fashioned protest is understandable in times such as these. So after the time and location for the rally is confirmed from whatever social media platform one may be using, you head out the door with a little determination and civic pride. Along with your phone in your pocket. I mean, it might be better to Uber your way there so as not to be stuck in traffic later or have some dickhead jump on your car with a bullhorn even if it's for firing up the crowd. There could be a flash alert or text to all the protesters in the area about some urgent event that requires immediate action in the heat of the moment. Don't want to miss out on that. It'd be plum crazy to leave the phone at home.

One thing to think about once a giant mob has formed is if there is a group of people in this country who view themselves as accelerants for the next civil war. Some of these people were just pardoned and released from prison. You think they might be feeling a little bold right now? Up for a little action? Down with some revenge? Think about all of their buddies who remained on the outside who are a little disappointed they didn't get a chance to avenge the second election stolen from Trump.

Y'all remember how this group is all into false flags and likes to blame things that go wrong at their stuff on false flags. It's because they sit around and think about engaging in false flag activities. Kinda like the Russians do. At least Putin's boys. We're not in Russia yet but we ain't that far either.

There's a good chance some righteous acts of civil disobedience could turn violent without any right wing agitation with all the angst floating around. The militia boys will be ready swoop in like a 17 year old protecting the property of a neighboring town. You reckon the DOJ will be giving the boys a little leeway in these skirmishes.

Then boom! Insurrection Act unleashed. Hegseth is already slowly stroking his cock when he gets home from work thinking about this. I mean, what's the use of going out if you can't drink. Just the shaft and maybe a little on the bottom rim. Can't let it happen too soon.

But hey, there's other things to do in the good ole USA than engaging in mass street protests. Lawsuits are one. Especially if you happen to be a state attorney general. If you happen to be a wealthy campaign contributor who finds themselves just short of being an oligarch, consider talking to some of those elected Republicans who you're pretty certain won't turn your name over to the newly formed CIA right after the discussion. You could ask some questions such as:

Hey, I'm all about lowering some corporate taxes but why does Trump need to fire all the FBI agents who worked on his insurrection case? I mean, sure, I would love to go after the pencil pushing regulators who brought up charges against my company but I pay my lawyers a lot of money to make the problems go away in court or right before it goes to court. I take anything that keeps me out the big house as a win even if the board gets 5% less in their year end bonus. That's America and I want to keep it this way.

Or you could make subtle statements with contemporaries while golfing, sitting in the sauna, power lunching, or attending church.

Shit, I'm all about getting some business sense in DC but this Musk character is a nut. I mean, hey, y'all know I like to tie one on. We all do once in a while to let off some steam. But none of us show up sticking drunk to lunch when we're not on vacation much less on some dope like Special K. He's good buddies with our main adversaries Russia and China too. That's not American and neither is he.

It could work. Some grassroots high end corporate officials rolling up their sleeves to make sure things don't collapse. I just hope there aren't too many of those along with politicians who are currently being blackmailed. This could be a golden age since we have all decided it is okay to have bugs planted on us. Small price to pay for directions, constant communication, and the ability to order food without talking to anyone. Most of you are probably assuming the ones getting blackmailed are men banging their secretaries, babysitters, or random pieces of strange. The truth is women can also be blackmailed and may very well be protecting a son, nephew or grandson.

What should normal people who aren't currently being blackmailed do if they can't go yell in the streets? Well, you can call your congressman or lady. Or write a letter. Email it though. Not a good time time for them to be opening old timey letters. Probably not the best time to ask them to take you on a tour of the Capitol either. I know that would give you plenty of time to explain how democracy is being subverted but it ain't gonna happen. Don't go even if they invite you and let you know what time certain people usually walk out certain doors. Some of them may not be thinking too clear nowadays either.

Try your best to keep all communications focused on key items. Follow the laws and the money. Don't get distracted by Trump and his Gaza Shores fantasy. He's just throwing a bone to his Armageddon enthusiast portion of the base. Keep that thumb off of there Pete! Any mother fucker walking in the shoes of past Secretaries of Defense such as McNamara, Cheney and Rumsfeld should know this one is hornetiest of all hornet's nests. Let the apocalypse manifest organically, Pete. It'll be better that way.

But Pete, if you and Trump are hell bent on taking over Palestine, do it with a private army funded by cryptocurrency instead of going through the USA government. Get rid of the red tape. You could recruit true crusaders and do it old school. Just imagine the sight of all the muscle bound, tatted up knights adorn in modern day armor which could be painted silver charging across the plains of Megiddo equipped only with God's chosen weapon of the AR-15 and zeal to take on the hordes of Arabs charging from the opposite direction wearing their typical desert garb while toting some commie gun. Remember, no matter how bad you and the boys may be getting slaughtered do not surrender. Jesus will come down from the clouds with the best gun ever that shoots magic bullets that only kills the Arabs. And the Jews who don't immediately convert upon seeing him in his full militia glory. I'm guessing those killed on the good side will either be resurrected to enjoy the first of 1000 annual victory parties or go straight to heaven. A win win.

It is also time for one more thing. I did not come to this lightly but I don't think there's another choice. Times are extreme. We need to start talking to MAGA people. Without yelling. Not all of them are in the cult. And some may be trying to prove they aren't even if they kinda are. Avoid certain issues initially. You know which ones. I would even plan to not mention guns or climate change even though I know I'm right about both. We are so far away from being able to do anything on these issues anyway so what's the use. Some good icebreakers could be a few negative things about why the Democrats lost this past election. I would like to share a few rather solid reasons right now.

Sleepy Joe fucked us by deciding to run for a second term. This is #1 and I'm not sure if anything could have been done to overcome it. Now we know that many people knew Joe had lost a little on his changeup over two years ago. Which is a big deal considering it was his only pitch. His late pardons has me thinking about getting a FJB hat and maybe some stickers. Liz, Adam and the rest of the J6 committee would have ripped Trump a new one in court if he tried to charge them. I don't think Trump would have gone after the Capitol cops either. If he did, I'm sure a GoFundMe could have taken care of their legal fees along with enough left over for a countersuit.

Kamala was a shitty candidate. Sorry but it's true. I think each party gets about 45% of the vote automatically. She won a little over 3% and sucked ass in the battleground states. Dem voters never picked her either. Joe picked her twice. A battle at the convention sounded good to me at the time but I wasn't sure. It's obvious now. With all that, Kamala still had a chance to salvage the campaign but she chose to say she wouldn't do anything different from Joe. "Shit, I was even there for the important decisions too." Which is the main reason I found her to be a shitty candidate.

One of the things Joe fucked up on was letting the immigration situation get out of control even though he fuckin knew this is always the top red meat issue for Republicans. Especially for Trump. And I know Trump sabotaged the immigration bill but Republicans are somehow able to not face consequences. At this point Joe decided to do an executive action to close the open borders which leads one to believe he could have done this right off the bat. Kamala could have also said she would have done the executive order a long time ago.

Inflation is a tricky one. The US did better than most other countries dealing with the post-Covid bump. All except for the egg. Once this product was pinpointed, Joe could have at least played some political lip service or done some good ole fashioned demagogueing. Take a trip to chicken house and point out some inefficiencies. Roll out an egg stamp with his picture on it for a free half dozen for every dozen purchased. Sure the Republicans would shut down any commie welfare shit but then they would have owned it. Kamala could have said she mentioned the egg stamp thing but nobody listened. The inflation issue may be the best ice breaker when talking to MAGA enthusiasts due to current conditions.

There's plenty of other reasons someone could point out as the reason the Dems lost but I think the above four are pretty solid. Dems talking to each other could and probably should go a little further down the list.

You could even bring up reasons why you think Trump won with a MAGA guy or gal. The assassination attempt was huge. Keep it classy though. You know what I mean. I do think it would be kosher to bring up the whole "God saved him" thing since Trump actually said it. You could ask whether it may have been the half assed Secret Service that saved him as opposed to the Almighty since he has seemed to choose to not get involved in most other shooting incidents in this country. This could lead to an interesting conversation on many different levels. Remember to not bring up gun control. Secret Service for all schools could be broached.

Please take note that reprehensible and sometimes illegal personal behavior is no longer an effective line of attack against these MAGA politicians and appointees. It should probably be avoided. We seem to be at the point where the Puff Daddy beating the shit out of his woman video is possibly the bar for coming after one of Trump's people for sex stuff.

I think it may be worth taking brief look at a few recent Democratic lines of attack for perspective. If a cousin from a famous family with what one must assume to be a ton of skeletons in the closet comes for the head of another cousin, they better bring it. A weird pet story may not cut the mustard. It may even be more humane to put a chick in a blender first. Have you ever seen a hawk eat? They might slowly rip out the intestines while the chick is still alive. It's brutal. The attack seemed to imply that all raptor handlers are predators. Probably not true. Kinda like saying all snake owners are creeps. While they make most of us feel creepy, we don't have to touch it and they could very well be kind hearted in other areas of life. Different strokes is all this is.

For a family such as the Kennedys, we would need a story more like …

This would have perked up some right wing ears. Especially those senators from southern states who are tired of the incestual taunts predominantly coming from one direction and are dying for a chance to take the mystique off a deep blue legacy family even if it means crossing Trump.

Stories where a person choses to keep quiet or drop charges after a murky sexual encounter lose their bite if the person also took cash. Doesn't mean the person made it up but it does play into an old trope which gives some types an excuse to ignore the accusation.

It also seems a majority of the American public don't really care for people bringing up stuff from high school 30 years later in an effort to discredit the opposition. Especially when the act may have not even led to any sort of conviction or possibly action even if it was reported in a timely fashion. Was it creepy? Sure. The creep factor goes up exponentially when you have a partner in crime. The horny young boys probably had a laugh about the potential for their pee-pees to touch if they would have kept going which led to an exclamation of "Homo!" followed immediately by "Jinx!" That was the last either probably talked about it until the confirmation hearing. It's too bad the parents didn't find out about this so they could have drug the two boys by the ears to apologize. Shame can be quite the behavioral correction sometimes. Who knows, the experience could have forced at least one of the boys to become a career public defender as opposed to their current arc.

I know what some of you are thinking.

"Hey, this shit used to always work in politics even before the Me Too movement."

True. The allegation of a simple affair used to be enough to derail a candidate or cabinet appointee. This was before Trump though. Now a right wing politico can rail almost any non-related statutorily legal chick even when bound by holy matrimony without suffering any repercussions. Even if something creepy transpired.

The threat of canceling someone from MAGA land is like Godzilla running through some high-tension electrical wires. It appears to be causing them pain while actually powering them up for a primary or congressional hearing. The Me Too electrical wires seem to help them the most for some reason.

Was the Me Too movement necessary? Of course it was. Did the Me Too movement go too far in some cases? Sure did. Somewhere between a disgusting Hollywood producer using his power to fuck and destroy young actresses and a very talented Indian/American comedic actor eating a white¹ girl out on a first date, things got a little out of hand. We live and hopefully learn.

This is by no means meant to be a lecture only directed at women either. Men played an overreach role too. As we learned from BLM rallies circa 2020, white people who suffered none of the grievances were often the most annoying.

Now we are left with a double standard that only applies to one side. Our side. Nobody's saying we should give every douchebag a free pass. There should be some guardrails when talking about elected or appointed officials. Let's take a look in the not so distant past at two cancelings from different extremes.

First up is my man Anthony Weiner. Some of you may say we should never let a man named Weiner in the mix to start with but I disagree. The problem with Weiner was his penchant for sending pics of his throbbing member encased only by briefs to various ladies. Sure seems like there should be better ways to get the word out about one toting around a hefty crank. Like creating a scenario where the gossipiest secretary at the campaign headquarters accidentally catches a glimpse of it. The rest should take care of itself.

But Weiner got caught and paid the price. Soon afterwards, his stock began to rise again since most agreed it wasn't the worst thing a man could do. But he did it again. Pretty much the same thing only with a young lady who wasn't even Winger legal. The last one led to Comey announcing the reopening of the investigation into Hilary's emails 11 days before the 2016 election which pulled Trump within the margin of error in the polls. Just a fun little side note.

Next is my man Al Franken. Al got in hot water for being a little too enthusiastic on an agreed upon kiss in a skit and for pretending to grab the boobies of the same girl while she was asleep. Other women came forward with stories of Al touching a little booty during a photo op and one said he touched some side boob. Democratic senators united to strongly suggest that Al resign. This was after the current president bragged about grabbing snatch at will. The president was not asked to resign by Republican colleagues.

Weiner had to go after his last transgression. The situation would be considered much worse by today's standard since rappers have even taken a bold stance against sex with minors. Specifics about whether statutory laws apply have yet to be addressed. Until further notice, shorties will now be considered to be between the ages of 18 to 24 years old.

Al, on the other hand, should have told his Democratic colleagues to suck his dick in a text with one of Weiner's pics attached. Instead he resigned. Capitulation is an all too common instinct for Democrats. Al regrets his decision now as do many of the Democratic senators who forced the issue.

There is a reason we have a legal system in this country. Though there are problems, I feel its verdicts are stronger than social media ones. We should let the legal process work it's course most of the time. The Weiner case was an easy one. And yes, it is okay to not vote for someone accused of a crime or lewd behavior. You can choose to hate them if you like. I just hope we can learn to look at the big picture in some cases.

Not sure if anybody has noticed but things are getting a little crazy out there. We're in for quite the fight if things are going to turn around. We're going to need all the fighters we can get. No more purity tests. I'm not just talking about creepy, horny men either. We need to welcome back in all the whores and skanks as well.

Most of all, we are going to need people who voted for Trump in this past election. I think we can drop the anger for a while. At least until MAGA is marginalized. I truly believe many of them are starting to realize the actual damage a deranged Trump and his tongue in cheek Nazis could possibly do to this country. Which brings me to a sidebar.

Some haters might say it was only a half assed gesture without full commitment to get back control of your people from that less than dapper South African psycho but half of his fans is a good start. Sorry about that. Didn't feel like doing a full letter. As I was saying, some horrible things are coming together at breakneck speed even as I slowly type. Now is the time for everyone on this side to find non-violent ways to stop these horrible things. Get creative. I know various people have different ideas about which things are most horrible when we get hit with a fresh wave everyday. I still say it's best to follow the money and the law. A functioning economy for those of us who are not billionaires will be vital as we try to reverse much of this damage through the courts.

I know some of y'all are chomping at the bit to hit the streets because that's what's always been done and it's a vital part of democracy. And some marches have already happened without turning into anarchy. Maybe I'm stuck in a worse case scenario state of mind. I feel at some point the shit is going to really hit the fan and people are going to panic with no plan in their heads. I guess you have to look at what the purpose of marches are for. Who are you trying to target? Does the other side use marches?

The most successful political march in the history of the country was when MLK led his flock over the Klan bridge just outside of Selma. To the horror of most of the nation including many from the South, the Bama boys in blue proceeded to beat shit out of the peaceful marchers which led to the passing of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. This was the pinnacle. Would a similar event in this present time lead to political action? Really? A two-thirds vote in the House and Senate to override the presidential veto? You may retort with …

Think about this. The trashy J6 rioters beat the shit out of actual cops and the Senate couldn't even muster up three-fifths to keep Trump from running from running again. Which is less than two-thirds for those not mathematically inclined. And does anyone think there is a leader of MLK's caliber who could keep the crowd submissive once the whacking begins. Trump's team might even be able to make their side look like the victims. Similar to J6.

Osama bin Laden was a giant piece of shit who used a terrorist attack to goad the USA into an overreaction. Laden was hoping the USA would view his attack as a need for war against Islam and the greater Arab world. He was probably thinking we would attack his home country of Saudi Arabia too but W was too smart to fall for that one. What Trump is currently doing is a much greater threat to the USA than anything Laden could have ever done. Laden had to rely on us to do it to ourselves whereas Trump is dismantling any check to his power from within. For those who may find this to be hyperbole, ask yourself if Russia or al Qaeda is a more formidable foe. And then ask yourself how much daylight there is between Putin and Trump.

Some wonder if Trump is actually a Russian asset. Does it matter if Trump is a Russian asset if he does the same thing an actual Russian asset would be doing? He relayed several false Russian talking points last week. He backed off the Kremlin assertion that Ukraine actually started the war once someone on his staff informed him that a majority of his most diehard MAGA faithful are not stupid enough to fall for this one. I assume anyway. Or was it the stern words of former VP Pence. The context of the rest of his tirade made it clear that it was not a matter of old man Trump getting things a little mixed up. Either way, what would Republicans be doing to Sleepy Joe if he did the same thing? What would Republicans do if Sleepy Joe lied for an ally?

Trump spouting lies for Russia is the missing scale on the dragon's belly. Aim all arrows accordingly.

Anywho, some political tactics do not seem to have the same impact they may have had in years past. Let's look at the last election. Democrat's claimed to have a superior ground game. They hit the streets and knocked on doors. Sounds like they knocked on some of the same doors multiple times. Republicans outsourced the ground game to Musk. He had dudes in U-hauls that didn't knock on too many doors or even get paid in some instances. The real Republican ground game was to use the vast network of right wing news outlets, ignorant podcasters incapable of asking follow up questions, and Nazi Twitter to ignore the other missing scale (2020 election lies, insurrection, et al) and focus on making mountains out of comparative molehills of Democratic misdeeds using a dash of conspiratorial thinking liberally whenever it is needed. That's what we're up against.

Is Trump trying trying to goad his adversaries (a majority of the American people) into wildly lashing out against him? I don't know. He's definitely trying to beat his adversaries into a state of apathy. I say we decline to take the bait on both of those. There is a moderate path to take. Stay calm and use your brain. Maybe some old techniques can be combined with new techniques to derail this fucked up authoritarian train. The most important thing now is to realize it is time to join the fight before it's too late.

Be wary of people claiming it's time to fight with guns. We're not there yet. We would also probably lose an actual war right now. And I'm pretty sure after the past few weeks that other nations will not come to help us out. We will have elections in 2026. Assuming we stay out of martial law. Not sure what the situation will be if we lose a free and fair election then. Let's try not to fuck them up this time.

Some signs are starting to show that we may not be alone now. Republicans have started laying into their representatives about the bullshit transpiring at various town hall type meetings. It will continue to happen too based on Trump's professional track record. He's a shitty businessman. Though he is good at campaigning, he sucks at governing. Even some of the MAGA extremists are pissed about him helping out the Jews in Gaza. Now, I don't see a path forward for us to work with these guys but we could encourage them to run a candidate to the right of MAGA to syphon some votes. I think primaries from the left may become an issue for MAGA politicians if things keep going down the same path.

I have feared for this moment we are currently in since the fall of 2021 when I started seeing signs that Trump might actually get away with his attempted coup. This past election day was tough but I'm not scared anymore. I feel like I'm getting my legs back underneath me and I'm ready to run again. Remember this. If I appear to running away from the fight, just assume I'm running to a more important fight someplace else. Maybe we'll see each other there.

There will be roles for all types of people to play in the weeks and months to come. Many of these roles may suck. You might get stuck knocking on doors. Most of the important work now will need to be done by lawyers, elected representatives, military personnel, and non-oligarchical businessmen and ladies. Roles will reveal themselves. Our job is to be ready.

This is going to be an ugly fight. Assume you will be doxxed. Assume you will be hacked. Assume they will try to destroy you. Accept your sacrifices could be in vain. Do it anyway. This country is too important to let these fucks have it.

If you need inspiration, look no further than the people of Ukraine. Think about what their daily life is like. They have had multiple 9/11's over the past three years. Children have been stolen. Soldiers risk their lives every day to keep the Russians at bay. Zelenskyy is a hero. He could have left Ukraine to live in luxury in the US. He chose to stay and fight. He said he needed ammo not a ride. Some criticize him. George Washington lost many more battles than he won in the Revolutionary War. Many wanted to replace Washington because the battles were viewed as winnable and were lost due to poor decisions. Wars can be complicated. Choosing the right side is the most important decision. Our current president has chosen to side with Russia in this war. Trump has chosen to regurgitate lies from a murderous authoritarian regime as he tries to extort Ukraine's natural resources. Trump is the antithesis of a hero.
